Evaporation / Rectification
Evaporation & rectification applications
Film evaporators powered by corosys – these are mostly Falling Film Evaporators (EFF) and Thin Film Evaporators (ETF), also in combination with rectification tops, as well as Short Path Evaporators (ESF) – are used for distillative purification, fractionation or removal of unwanted highly volatile by-products or starting materials. Typically, the evaporated substances have molecular weights between 100 kg/kmol to 500 kg/kmol and beyond.Fatty acids, fatty acid derivates and by-products from the production of edible oil
